You can only unlock characters and cheats in Campaign mode.Ĭustom mode lets you start on any world you have reached before, and pick which two characters you use out of all you unlocked, including using two of the same monster. The current version of the game extends to the third world of Pathos. Bosses can no longer be 'stunlocked' via AI exploits.Ĭampaign mode is the normal mode to play the game- it starts with the same intro from G:MoM, and you play as Godzilla and Mothra, same as that game.Bosses no longer 'retreat' to the next map when on low health.Moguera's hitbox no longer has 'holes'.Moguera's laser does not fire out instantly, but instead has a 'charging' phase, and flies more slowly.Gezora's AI doesn't try to pin the player to the wall as aggressively.Several new Minibosses have been introduced.Matango Hives' projectiles cannot be destroyed.Matango Hives can no longer be flown/crouched under.Minibosses only give experience the first time they are killed.Inferno Craft no longer appear, except when facing the Gohten.Enemies and projectiles are destroyed instead of being 'flung' offscreen.Enemies do not respawn as quickly or frequently.Many projectiles have different, less tenacious tracking- they will eventually fly off after following you instead of tracking you forever.Many enemies have reduced health or damage.Neither the players or bosses restore health after battles (aside from level ups).Powerups 'bounce' off the edge of the screen and then float in the opposite direction instead of vanishing.Minibosses drop a 'hybrid capsule' that recovers health and energy.Energy power ups are colored blue to look more distinct.More enemies drop energy capsules instead of only health ones, and more enemies drop power ups in general.Several more monsters can be unlocked as you play through the game!. ![]() When a board is cleared with a monster, that monster vanishes to the next board, instead of the player having to choose for it to happen.Mothra no longer receives knockback or damage from her eye blast colliding with enemy projectiles.Mothra has a new 'Eye Ring' attack along with her Poison Scales, giving her more attacking options.Mothra's knockback is severely reduced to be on par with Godzilla's.Godzilla's Atomic Breath only uses 6 energy bars to fire rather than 10.Godzilla's tail whip attack has a more consistent hitbox.Godzilla cannot be knocked out of his breath attack animation.Godzilla and Mothra both received improvements to their sprites.The color of enemies and projectiles no longer changes depending on your character.The music is no longer overridden by sound effects.Graphics do not distort due to the number of sprites on screen. ![]()
